Would  you like to create a living environment that thrives and functions in harmony with the earth, its residents, and its systems - to strike a balance between your needs and that of the natural environment?

Are you interested in restoring your property to its original or near original identity and creating a dialogue once again with the natural systems in its surround?

Biophilic design is a concept used within the building industry to increase occupant connectivity to the natural environment through the use of direct nature, indirect nature, and space and place conditions.

Green buildings are structures that, in their design, construction or operation, reduce or eliminate negative impacts on our climate and natural environment.

Restorative landscapes improve degraded land on a large scale rebuilding ecological integrity and enhancing people's lives.

Conform to the norm? Nope. We will work together to create a beautiful, thoughtful and responsive design that works for you, your family, and your surroundings.  The preparation of construction documents and development (permit/HOA) packages are well within my skillset, so I am able to directly translate your vision into reality. I am vastly familiar with all types of green building methods and systems and a life long student of native plants and regional ecology and can guide you toward materials and plants sustainable for the climate, your overall health, and your budget.

I am grateful to have had the experience of 'architecting' for over 25 years. After earning two degrees in architecture and working with renowned architects and landscape architects, installers, engineers, surveyors, developers, masons, and a multitude of craftspeople throughout the states of Arizona and New Mexico, I've gained many valuable lessons.  My decade long professorship and curriculum development in Environmental Design allowed for a deeper dive into the theory. methodology, and concepts that bolster successful projects.  This allows for a measured approach to your project's design development. Though I'm proud of my accomplishments, my path leads onward, and I enjoy learning each and every day from folks just like you.

I hope to hear about your vision for your next project and look forward to working together to make it grOW!
